Just finished a dense chapter on DNS configuration and now onto Active Directory.
Studying for my MCSA in Server 2012 the second chapter really kicked my ass. Being a technician I don’t really run into DNS very often, only setting up A records for domains I own but knowledge of Time To Live is paying off. Set the TTL on my production domains to 300 seconds down from 14400 and will make the migration process so easy.
Nothing like the control of a VPS to run your sites on. Crazy fast and completely customizable. DNS is taking forever though. Working on bringing my sites back up today and tomorrow.
